Classic Cobb Salad

Ingredients
  • 4 cups chopped Romaine lettuce
  • 2 cups chopped cooked chicken breast
  • 4 cooked and crumbled bacon strips
  • 2 sliced hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
  • 1 diced avocado
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped red onion
  • Salad dressing of your choice, such as ranch.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Method

01.Layer the chopped Romaine lettuce as the basis in a big salad bowl.

02.On top of the lettuce, arrange the diced cooked chicken, crumbled bacon, chopped hard-boiled eggs, split cherry tomatoes, diced avocado, crumbled blue cheese, and finely chopped red onion in rows.

03.Season the salad with salt and pepper to taste.

04.Drizzle with your preferred dressing.

05.Just before serving, gently toss the salad to coat the contents with the dressing.

06.Serve immediately as a filling and filling supper.
