Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups regular flour
- 3 1/2 teaspoon. baking powder
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon of white sugar
- 1 and 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- Three tablespoons of melted butter (or veggie oil)
Method
01.Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large mixing basin.
02.Whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter or vegetable oil in a separate basin.
03.Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just mixed. The batter should have a small lumpiness to it.
04.Preheat a griddle or nonstick skillet over medium heat. Grease the surface lightly with butter or cooking spray.
05.For each pancake, pour 1/4 cup batter into the skillet. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then turn and cook until golden brown on the other side.
06.Transfer the cooked pancakes to a dish and cover with a clean kitchen towel to keep warm while you finish the rest of the batter.
07.Toppings such as maple syrup, fresh berries, chocolate chips, or whipped cream can be added to the pancakes.
