Delicious Triple Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
- 2 cups regular flour
- granulated sugar 2 cups
- 3/4 cup chocolate powder, unsweetened
- 2 tbsp. baking powder
- 11/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- two huge eggs
- 1 quart milk
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup of hot water
To make the chocolate buttercream frosting, follow these steps
- 1 1/2 cups softened unsalted butter
- 4 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened
- a half-cup of milk
- Two teaspoons of vanilla extract
Method
01.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Prepare three 9-inch round cake pans by greasing and flouring them.
02.Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing basin.
03.To the dry ingredients, add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla essence. Mix on medium speed until everything is fully incorporated.
04.Reduce the speed to low and slowly drizzle in the hot water, mixing until the batter is smooth and thin.
05.Pour the batter into the prepared cake pans in an equal layer.
06.Cook for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
07.Remove the cakes from the oven and cool for about 10 minutes in the pans. After that, place them on a wire rack to cool entirely.
08.Prepare the chocolate ganache while the cakes cool. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it begins to boil. Remove from the heat and pour into a heatproof dish with the chocolate chunks. Allow for a minute before whisking until smooth and glossy.
10.Place one cake layer on a serving platter after the cakes have totally cooled. Top with a layer of chocolate ganache. Continue with the remaining layers.
11.In a separate mixing bowl, whip together the softened butter and chocolate buttercream frosting until smooth. Add the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and vanilla extract gradually. The frosting should be creamy and fluffy.
12.Chocolate buttercream frosting should be used to cover the whole cake.
13.If desired, garnish with chocolate shavings or more chocolate ganache.
