A Sumptuous Combination of Seafood Delights
Ingredients
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound (450g) mixed seafood (such as shrimp, scallops, and crabmeat), cooked and chopped
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté for a few minutes until the onion is translucent.
- Add the mixed seafood to the skillet and season with dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine and heat through.
- In a bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese and half of the grated Parmesan cheese.
- In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.
- Place 3 lasagna noodles evenly over the sauce.
- Spread 1/3 of the ricotta cheese mixture over the noodles, followed by 1/3 of the seafood mixture. Drizzle with Alfredo sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers two more times, ending with a layer of lasagna noodles, Alfredo sauce, and a generous amount of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
- Allow the lasagna to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
